Here are some details of the range of Philips Amalgam Lamps designed for use in Wedeco TAK systems.
The part numbers are TUV 230 XPT SE which is a direct replacement for Wedeco part number SLR 25143
Please note the four pin single ended end cap is now standard on all of the range.
This does away with the cumbersome loose wire connection system which was always a problem area it also greatly speeds up relamping.
We also have the variable power lamp normally part number SLR 32143/4P similarly this is a single ended version and is way ahead of the competition in both quality of construction and performance.
Note the greatly increased size of the filament and the lack of a reduction in diameter at the pinch seal, the quartz glass is precoated to minimise solarisation giving better performance over the life of the lamps.
The Quality is superb as you would expect from Philips.
Finally we also have the "very high " power lamp, we have this installed and working in Korea and are keenly awaiting an oportunity to supply the lamps in the other areas.

The UVC output can be seen in this bar chart.
Note the remarkable UVC maintenance curve the output is maintaned to 90% over 9000 hours and even then still maintains a very sahllow reduction.
